They can also be great for Read the rest of this entry »

4th of July Family Event in Fountain Hills “Fourth At The Fountain”

Jun 28

filed under: Living In Fountain Hills

Fourth at the Fountain promises to be another fun filled family event at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills on the 4th of July. Starting at  5:00 PM and scheduled to go to 10:00 PM  a host of activities will be going on. Entertainment features include a spectacular nighttime parachute drop by the Arizona Skyhawks Parachute Team and live entertainment by the Arizona Blues Project.

And what would the Fourth of July be without a hot dog eating contest. How many do you think you can chow down? Other fun things for the kids include a bounce house, a fun slide and a dunk tank. With our summer heat, the dunk tank sounds pretty good to me right now. There will be cold beer, plenty of  food and drink and merchandise from various vendors.

There is an admission fee of $5.00. Children under 12 years of age are free. Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate, my brokerage firm, will have a booth, so please stop by and say hello. It will be easy to recognize me, I will be the gal with the cold beer in her hand. Sounds good doesn’t it. See you there.

What I am about to report is taken directly from the Multiple Listing Service for the Phoenix Metro area.

Prices are definitely going up, some very encouraging news and long overdue.

May continued the positive pricing resurgence begun in August/September of 2011 in all four pricing metrics: median and average list price (up 4.8% and 2.5% respectively) and median and average sales price (up 5.1% and 8.2%). The gains in the sales price metrics represent a 13.8% rise from the median’s lowest point in May 2011, and 26.05% increase in the Read the rest of this entry »
